Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dikshit said the MLAs would be allowed to participate in the proceedings of the House after the Covid test.
He said the process of Covid test of all the MLAs was on and was likely to be completed by Wednesday.
Dikshit said all the security personnel deployed on duty during the budget session would have to undergo Covid test.
Like the previous session of the state assembly in September last year, media persons will not be allowed to cover the proceedings of the House from the press gallery. They would cover the proceedings from the nearby Tilak hall. TV sets will be installed there for live coverage of the proceedings of the House which will be telecast.
The UP Assembly speaker on Tuesday presided over a meeting to review the security arrangements in and around the Vidhan Bhawan during the budget session. The meeting was attended by the Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Awanish Awasthi, DGP, additional chief secretary (secretariat administration) and other senior officials.
