Reiterating that Samajwadi Party was geared up for the forthcoming lok Sabha election Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that real battle would be fought at the boothlevel and the party that would manage its booth better would sweep the polls.

"The Samajwadi Party had done well in spreading the message across the state about good governance. This was reflected in good rallies organised by the parties across the state. When other parties are grappling to select their candidates while we have released candidates’ list and they are working at the ground level," Yadav said while launching the advertisement campaign of the party here on Monday.

He said that despite good beginning made by the party workers they should not rest. The real battle is fought at the booth level. The party that manages its booth better wins election. "It is the responsibility of the leaders to ensure all SP supporters cast their votes on the polling day," Yadav, who is also state president of the party said.

Without taking any name Yadav said: "Some parties have not short listed their candidates. But we did it long time back. Yes, we have to change the candidates couple of times in some seats as there are lot of ticket seekers. But in other parties they are still in search of the candidates."

Probably, Yadav knew what is coming and he took a defensive posture saying no question should be asked if his party does not field candidates against Congress leader  Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. "We always honor political curtesy. In last Kannauj elections Congress did not  field candidate against us, so this time we can reciprocate and may not field candidates against top Congress leaders. However, party president Mulayam Singh Yadav will take the final call in this regard," he said.

In Kannauj bye-election Yadav’s wife Dimple Yadav had won by a record margin in 2012 and Congress had not fielded candidate against her.The CM also refused to make comment on Amar Singh and Jaya Prada who joined Rashtriya lok Dal in New Delhi. "During the elections such things happens. But I don't want to comment on myuncle," he said.

Replying to the charges made by Narendra Modi on UP government during his rally in Purnia Yadav said that the digital diary released by the party is the ultimate reply to all the charges made by the opposition.

Reiterating that an alternative third front government is the only option in the country after the lok Sabha elections, Yadav made it clear that at present all the partners of the third front are determined to win maximum number of seats in their respective states. "We will have a say in the government on the numbers of seats won by us," he said.
