Actress and model Esha Gupta visited the Maha Kumbh on Thursday to take a holy dip in the Sangam. She lauded the UP government’s efforts in organising the grand event.
She shared that being at the Maha Kumbh filled her with immense pride in her Sanatan heritage.
Esha Gupta shared her thoughts on attending Maha Kumbh 2025, saying that she did not come as a Bollywood star but as a devoted Sanatani.
“Actors’ job is to perform, but as an Indian, it is my privilege to be here,” she remarked.
Praising the arrangements, she credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for making the Maha Kumbh grand and divine.
“I don’t think such a massive event, with such well-organised arrangements, takes place anywhere else in the world. People across the globe recognise that India’s faith is unmatched, and through Maha Kumbh, the world is experiencing it firsthand,” she pointed out.
Gupta also spoke about the smooth management at the event. “Since childhood, we have seen in films that people get lost at the Maha Kumbh. But this time, the arrangements are so well-organised that people are making reels praising it. Everything is so systematic that devotees are moving in and out in an orderly manner without any difficulties,” she said. Encouraging people to attend, she added, “If you follow Sanatan Dharma, come here and chant Har Har Mahadev!”
