Acting chief secretary, Alok Ranjan on Wednesday directed officials to launch efforts to allocation of Rs 100 crore from the centre for implementation of programmes under National Horticulture Mission (NHM).
Reviewing ongoing NHM schemes in UP, Ranjan asked all district magistrates and chief development officers for regular monitoring of programmes and make preparations for Kharif crops in advance. He said, in ongoing fiscal, with release of Rs 28 crore the target has been fixed for bringing 6756 hectare land under sprinkler irrigation method.
