An accused of a murder case was shot dead in his village in Mainpuri district on Sunday morning.
As per reports, the victim Jagmohan Yadav of Jasarana under Ghiror police station area had gone to attend nature’s call when he was shot at his chest. He remained unattended there for hours and died of excessive bleeding. His family rushed the scene and took him to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival.
Jagmohan was accused in murder of his nephew Anil and was jailed for the crime. He was granted bail in the murder case only four months back and was staying at his house. Police suspect that the victim would have killed to avenge the killing of Anil. A case has been registered in this connection and further investigations are on.
