In a shocking incident, a 65-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly 'raped' a dog.
The incident took place in Bulandshahr, and the entire sequence was captured in a video which went viral. The owner of the dog, after learning of the video contacted the police and lodged a report against the accused.
Reports said that Premchand Verma alias Babli reached Thana Nagar Kotwali in Bulandshahr and filed a complaint against the accused. He also provided the video of the incident in which the man raped his dog.
Shocked by the incident, local police registered a case under and arrested the accused, Anil Sharma, and sent him to jail on Wednesday.
The incident took place in Bisa Colony in Thana Kotwali Nagar area, where a case of 'rape' with a dog named Tiger came to light. The probe pointed out that even before the above incident, the accused had molested a pet dog and had been continuously molesting even small children of the locality.
However, his inhuman act came to light on Tuesday, when a youth living in the neighborhood captured the video of Anil’s act with the dog in a mobile camera and complained to the owner of the dog. He also made the video viral so everyone in the locality could learn about Anil’s inhuman acts.
The local residents claimed that the victim dog was undergoing treatment at the district veterinary hospital.
The accused has been booked under Indian Penal Code Section 377 and for animal cruelty.
