The state government shifted 15 senior Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers on Friday.
As per an official release, Principal Secretary (Food and Civil Supplies) Gurdeep Singh has been made Principal Secretary of Mining and Geology department replacing Sudhir Garg, who has been made Principal Secretary of PWD.
Principal Secretary (Transport) Kumar Arvind Singh Deo would be the new Principal Secretary (Food and Civil Supplies) while Principal Secretary (PWD) Aradhana Shukla has been made Principal Secretary of Transport department.
Mritunjay Kumar Narain, who was awaiting posting, has been posted as MD of UP State Road Transport Corporation while Special Secretary (IT and Electronics) Narendra Kumar Singh Chauhan will swap posts with Special Secretary (Stamps and Registration) Dr Saroj Kumar.
Special Secretary (Higher Education) Subhra Saxena has been shifted to Finance in the same capacity while Secretary (Health and Family Welfare) V Hekali Jhimomi has been given additional charge of Project Director (Community projects).
Additional Director (National Rural Health Mission and SIFSA) Rajesh Kumar has been made Mission Director of Skill Development while Commissioner (land Consolidation) and Secretary (Culture) Dr Hariom has been relieved from the former charge which has now been given as additional charge to Commissioner and Secretary (Revenue Board) Dheeraj Sahu.
Special Secretary in Agriculture Production Commissioner branch Karan Singh Chauhan has been made MD of Pradeshik Cooperative Federation.
Special Secretary (Revenue) Surendra Kumar has been made Vice-Chairman of Bareilly Development Authority and Secretary (PWD) Anurag Yadav has been shifted to Khadi and Village Industries in the same capacity.
