Sir — This refers to the report, “TN CM: Anti-national forces behind Jallikattu stir” (January 28). Though the Jallikattu agitation was massive war, to uphold the traditional bull-fight sport in Tamil Nadu, anti-national and anti-social elements too got into the crowd and created violence and destruction, exploiting the spontaneous and overwhelming feelings of innocent people.
Now, emulating a similar battle line, crowds have collected in different parts of Karnataka and started demanding approval for the banned ‘Kambala’.
It is shocking that while the common man continues to struggle for a wretched life, some people turn so fanatic for dangerous and bizarre games, which directly leads to cruelty on animals, apart from evoking danger and injury to human beings.
