Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Nip threat in the bud” (April18). Maoists are terrorists by another name. They are a menace to society and a threat to the very people for whose rights they claim to fight.
Irrespective of which party is in power, the aim of the Government should be to wipe out Red terror and bring about peace to the Maoist-hit regions.
