Sir — This refers to reports that Union Minister for Finance Arun Jaitley has agreed to an integrated financial package for the development of the North-East. This will help stop the migration from the border areas. The move should have come after Independence, but successive Congress regimes had not bothered. If proper attention had been given earlier, China and Pakistan would have been more careful before creating border problems for us.
