Sir — This refers to the report, “Swamy asks apex court to cancel Aircel licence” (July 29). This is not the first time that Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy has drawn the attention of the Supreme Court to instances of serious violations of established rules and regulations.
We are aware of his relentless efforts to undo some of the questionable decisions of the Manmohan Singh-led Government, including the notorious 2G Spectrum deal and the more recent clearance given by the regime to AirAsia India.His is a good example of how a vigilant and determined citizen can protect and promote public interest through the use of the existing judicial processes.
