The great hopes of a new kind of politics the AAP had promised to generate, have turned into a great disappointment. The detention of political leaders by law enforcement agencies is not uncommon. But the AAP activists put up an ugly show by raiding the BJP’s headquarters in Delhi as retaliation to an ordinary incident in Gujarat. It is shocking that senior leaders of the AAP were in the forefront, leading the mob that indulged in stone-throwing and tearing down billboards of the BJP.
