Sir — This refers to the news report, “UPA blows its own trumpet” (May 23).
A person is constrained to blow his own trumpet when no one else can find anything worthy to blow it for him. That apart, the one and only person who would be happy at the end of the UPA’s ‘celebrations’ is Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who has finally secured a public endorsement of his continuation in office till the end of this term, from the only person who can give it — Ms Sonia Gandhi.
