This refers to the editorial, “Pakistan must introspect” (May 16). The dodgy manoeuvre of Pakistan to obtain F-16 fighter aircraft should be condemned. The present Nawaz Sharif regime is indeed a puppet, dancing to the tunes of terrorist mafias, the Pakistan Army and the Inter-Services Intelligence.
The notorious nexus between Pakistan and terrorist Osama bin laden conspicuously corroborates the claim. Therefore, acquiring F-16 or any other modern war material by Pakistan is an open intimidation to the world, particularly to Asiatic region, for solid reasons.
Subsequent upon the upshot of the 9/11 terror attack, though Pakistan received around $25 billion from the United States, solely to uproot terrorism from its soil, the result has been less than satisfying.
