Sir — The BJP-Shiv Sena alliance and the Congress-NCP ties in Maharashtra have fallen apart and all the parties will fight the poll individually. But this new arrangement will last only till the election result is announced. Once these parties see that they don’t have the numbers to form a Government, they will tie up again. The break up is only a temporary issue. It’s going to be a close contest for all the parties.
