Sir — This refers to the terror attack in Dhaka. Ramzan is a holy month when Muslims are meant to cleanse themselves of sin and ask for redemption. So it was natural for Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to appeal to terrorists, “Please stop tarnishing our noble religion … I implore you to come back to the rightful path and uphold the pride of Islam.”
The Dhaka attack suggests that Bangladesh is now facing a challenge similar to Pakistan with regard Islamist extremism.
