Sir — This refers to the report, “Modi reveals vision for Brand India” (January 20). Unlike other prime ministerial hopefuls, Mr Narendra Modi appears to be a man on a mission. He has a vision, and is keen to translate that into reality.
Mr Modi’s 75-minute-speech at the BJP’s national executive meeting was an illustration of how a future Prime Minister should articulate his thoughts. It was electrifying and illuminative in terms of style and content.
Mr Modi has laid down the blueprint for modern India. His ideas appear progressive and people-oriented. He has stressed on the urgent needs of Indians of all denominations.
Mr Modi’s stress on infrastructure and human resources planning on the one hand, and price stability and focus on health on the other, will appeal to all sections of the voters. Women will feel happy with his keenness to see them as ‘nation-builders’.He is right that this election is all about hope and aspirations of the people and of not a mere change in Government.
