Sir — This refers to the article, “The rise of a new wave of militancy in J&K” (July 20) by Ashok K Mehta. There are many elements in Kashmir, who, instead of denouncing democracy and secularism, are preaching communal hatred. On top of this, there are protests organised by separatists, at the behest of Pakistan. Resultantly, there are violent mob attacks. To handle the situation, Pakistan’s infiltration propaganda has to be dealt with.
