Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Very embarrassing” (October 3). Yes, the Democrats and the Republicans are at loggerheads in the US over funding Obamacare.
This is in contrast to our system wherein loads of public money are allowed to go down the drain by the Union Government. While the confrontation in the US is an embarrassment for President Barack Obama, sooner or later both the Democrats and the Republicans will reach a compromise so that Obamacare doesn’t become the casualty.
