Sir — This refers to the editorial, “The action begins now” (March 2). Undoubtedly, Mr Arun Jaitley has presented a good Budget. But how will the common people know about its various meritsIJ Most television news channels are feeding people with wrong notions by inviting critics who have been distorting and misrepresenting the Budget.
People in the Government, the Bharatiya Janata Party and its affiliates must travel to towns and villages across the country to educate the masses about the good that the Budget will do to them. They can then, counter the Opposition’s criticism effectively. Everything cannot be left to the Finance Minister and the Prime Minister.
