Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Omar regime capitulates” (August 4). The annulment of the Kausar Nag pilgrimage by the Omar Abdullah regime has once again proved that political parties in Jammu & Kashmir are in connivance with the separatists to ensure that the displaced Pandits do not return to their homeland.
Be it the Amarnath Yatra or any other Hindu religious activity, separatists begin crying out that the ‘Muslim identity’ of Kashmir is in danger. The silence of secular leaders is also worrisome. They want Parliament to condemn Israel but remain silent about the Jammu & Kashmir Government appeasing separatists.
