Sir — It is shameful of some police officers in Haryana to term the gang rape of a few women in Murthal (Haryana) as a false story. This is to hide their failure to tackle the unprecedented lawlessness in the State during the Jat agitation.
The Haryana Government should suspend the police officers from service as the latter have further hurt the sentiments of the victims by giving insensitive sentiments. It is indeed regretful that the Union Government has maintained silence, even as the Supreme Court and the High Court took cognisance of such unprecedented lawlessness.
