Sir — This refers to the article, “Pseudo-seculars in communal attire” (August 4) by Balbir Punj. The writer correctly observes that the NDA Government must come out of the mould set by the previous regimes, by emphasising justice to all and appeasement to none.
The NDA should take cognisance of Maulana Salman Nadwi’s letter to the Saudi Government on sending Muslim youths to join terror groups for the formation of a Caliphate, whose map includes parts of India as its territory. This is a serious matter.
Meanwhile, it is interesting that a Shia Muslim should be batting for a Sunni Caliphate.
