Sir — This refers to the report, “No future for SAARC if cross-border terrorism not wiped out: lanka” (October 6). Pakistan can never mend its ways. Terrorism is an instrument of state policy for Islamabad. As long as Kashmir remains an integral part of India, Pakistan will continue unleashing terror on Indian soil.
History saw the birth and demise of many international institutions from time to time. For example, the league of Nations was dissolved with the establishment of the United Nations. Similarly, time has come for Saarc to vanish from this region, if the issue of terrorism is not addressed.
