This refers to the serious charges made by former hockey chief KPS Gill about heavy legal expenses paid to an individual by Hockey India. It is indeed a matter of serious concern that Hockey India declined to provide the details of legal charges. No other public authority has ever declined such details.
Various queries of an RTI petition filed with Hockey India are of vital public interest, and should rather be suo motu disclosed. In view of serious allegations levelled by Mr Gill, the Central Information Commission should arrange a priority hearing on the petition filed by a senior citizen.
