Sir — The massive turnout at the Vijay Sankalp Rally in Goa may tempt one to suggest that Mr Narendra Modi is steadily moving towards making the BJP’s Mission 272-plus a reality. But the appreciable gathering at the rally may not be a clear indication of the mood in Goa.
For many locals, Mr Modi remains an enigma despite the media blitzkrieg. Mr Modi is adamant with his single-point agenda of Congress- bashing. He spares no effort to wring the Congress and the entire Nehru-Gandhi family. But he should have focused on addressing regional issues that have been troubling the State.
