This refers to the editorial, “Arunachal conundrum” (January 28). While it is unfortunate that the NDA Government has invoked President’s Rule in Arunachal Pradesh, the Congress is to be blamed for the present situation. The party is the architect of its destiny. The Supreme Court has issued notice to the Union Government to explain its decision to recommend President’s Rule in State. The Congress has enough time at its disposal to reconcile things. It must pave the way to have a Government again. Re-election is no solution as the State went to poll only in 2014.
