By attacking former BJP ideologue Sudheendra Kulkarni, the Shiv Sena has only helped former Pakistan Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri get more public attention for his book. The party probably calculated that the move would help shore up its fortunes but, instead, it has made a mockery of itself.
It would have been better if the Shiv Sena had read Mr Kasuri’s book and given a suitable reply through its own publications.
I have not read the book, but it appears that it contains a lot of distorted views regarding India. In view of the current stalemate in relations between India and Pakistan, this book may be a covert way for Islamabad to further its propaganda.
