This refers to the article, “Gau rakshaks spur Hindu-bashing” (August 16) by A Surya Prakash. Cow vigilantes should be prosecuted as they threaten Hindu unity. There can be no Hindu civilisational resurgence without Dalit participation.
Those from the twice-born Hindu fringe who attacked the Prime Minister for his statements against cow vigilantism do not represent the vast majority of Hindus who were relieved that he condemned the violence against Dalits.
