Sir — One welcomes the decision of a Delhi Sessions Court to reject the Central Bureau of Investigation’s clean chit to Congress leader Jagdish Tytler in connection with a 1984 Sikh massacre case. The witnesses had alleged that their family members were burnt alive by a mob egged on by Mr Tytler. The CBI’s clean chit had come as a shock to the affected families who had lost their loved ones in the 1984 carnage. The wait for justice for those families has continued for nearly 30 years after the horrific incident, which is a blot on this democratic nation.
