Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Home for the Pandits” (May 31). Kashmiri Pandits are deprived of their constitutional rights. Extremist factions of Srinagar do not have any exclusive ‘proprietary right’ over Kashmir. Fear of extremist ideologues must not stop the Union Government from intervening and rehabilitating the Kashmiri Pandits. The Government must first rehabilitate them in secure colonies, and then worry about social re-integration.
