Sir — This refers to the article, “leaders of failed law and order” (February 16) by Sanju Verma. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, in addition to being a professional agitator, has always sought to shield the corrupt and the law-breakers.
As for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, he belongs to a family which has amassed hundreds of crores of rupees. He is also a person without any scruples and principles. On the other hand, his alliance partner, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and has never had to struggle for positions of power in his party. His claim to fame is that he automatically stands to inherit the crown, while lesser mortals have to work.
