This refers to the editorial, “Insulting a nationalist” (March 23). Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has indulged in idle prattle by belittling the great freedom-fighter, Bhagat Singh. Perhaps he was enamoured and elated by the presence of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and a few others at the JNU campus earlier.
But does Tharoor know that JNU Students Union president Kanhaiya Kumar had unabashedly urinated on the campus road, that too in front of a girl studentIJ Is it not atrocious to compare Kanhaiya Kumar, a ‘road-side leader’ with a great freedom-fighter such as Bhagat SinghIJ May good sense prevail on our leaders.
