Practical approach

M Kumar

Sir — Even after the 56-day sabbatical, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has nothing new to offer. He must understand that his policy of attacking the Modi Government without any logic will pay him no dividends. Practically, Mr Gandhi is following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s agenda to gain more ‘contacts’. First, it was the farmers issue and now it is the middle class, which is his target.

However, Mr Modi’s technique has now failed. Mr Modi’s charisma, which helped him win the 2014 election, is fading in the people’s minds, as the Modi Government has not been able to do much for the common man even after almost a year in office. Mr Modi, made many pre-poll promises and showed us big dreams. Same is the case with Mr Gandhi — he is also making big promises. Mr Gandhi should stop criticising the Modi Government and give practical solutions for the common man.
