Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Poll panel is prejudiced” (May 9). It is unlikely that Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, who reminds me of Mr Beans, will influence anyone at all. The people of Varanasi have made up their mind. BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will win by a record margin. Mr Gandhi can go on abusing Mr Modi and crying foul.
People are watching Mr Gandhi because he is as entertaining as Mr Beans. It looks funny when he speaks even if he doesn’t make any sense.
