Sir — The path-breaking judgement by a special CBI court in Ranchi in the 17-year old fodder scam case, convicting RJD supremo and former Bihar Chief Minister and former Union Railway Minister lalu Prasad, and also another former Chief Minister Jagannath Mishra and others, should serve as an eye-opener to all those elements who think they can get away by looting the country.
The verdict is a pointer for our policy-framers that they must act within the ambit of the law of the land. If they fail to do so, they will be punished sooner or later. They cannot escape.
