Only a week has passed since Mr Nawaz Sharif promised at Ufa to have talks at the level of National Security Advisors and exchange of voice samples of terror suspects. But Pakistan is now refusing to give Zaki-ur-Rehman lakhvi’s voice sample.
Pakistan has been claiming that India sent a drone across the border, which it shot down. This is an utter lie, as facts that have emerged since the event show. Additionally, Pakistan resorted to unprovoked firing along the borders. If things continue the way they are on the Pakistani side, India will have no option but to retaliate strongly. This will obviously cause a setback to the peace efforts.
