Sir — Despite BJP MP Kirti Azad’s assertion that Union Minister for Finance Arun Jaitley was “totally informed” about the “kleptocracy” in the Delhi & District Cricket Association scam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s silence on this issue is surprising.
Mr Kirti Azad’s castigation that the Central Bureau of Investigation is ostensibly biased in investigating the rip-off, is undeniably true for convincing reasons. The Union Government need not hesitate to order an immediate apex-level probe to eliminate the genuine apprehensions of the citizens.
