Sir — This refers to the article, “Native seeds are key to food security” (December 12) by Sandhya Jain. Sadly, traditional wisdom of our farmers have been systematically devalued and ridiculed by several scientists/MNCs who are keen to promote technologies and seeds that are not suited to a particular area/community. As a matter of fact, some of them are not even suitable for Indian soil.
