Sir — This refers to the article, “Yet another washout session in the works” (April 29) by Kalyani Shankar. The author has aptly disapproved of the current disruption in Parliament by the Opposition, with the possibility of its washout again in continuation with the earlier ones. losing one more session does not auger well for either Government or Opposition.
Parliament is the symbol of democracy, where the rule ‘of’, ‘for’ and ‘by’ the people ought to reflect, if we respect our founding fathers. Parliament is a place where people are expected to frame laws, answer questions and raise major grievances and problems of the people.
