This refers to the editorial, “The jostle for justice” (August 25). It is painful that budding wrestler Narsingh Yadav has been slapped with a four-year ban by Court Of Arbitration For Sports for using banned substances. Even if any or all of the three top sporting bodies are held responsible for this tragedy, the insult heaped on the wretler can not be wiped off.
After Yadav tested positive in the second dope test, he alleged that this was a case of sabotage. Why did the police and sporting bodies not do enough to investigate his storyIJ India is already at the bottom of the medals tally. The last thing we need is a scandal such as this.
