Sir — The BJP is expected to abide by the principles of good governance. The common man looks forward to hassle-free dealings in Government offices. The discharge of public services ought not to be treated as a favour to the public. Also, to improve law and order, the Government must make citizens obey the law in the true spirit. Finally, ruling party leaders must be penalised for inappropriate public behaviour.
Though the BJP has only been in power for a short time, the desired outcome of its policies is not being felt effectively. Some industrialists feel that the bureaucrats are placing major hurdles. The Modi Government must deal strictly with the latter.
