Sir — This refers to the article, “Nuance can wait, firmness can’t” (October 15) by Abhijit Iyer-Mitra. Instead of attacking an individual or institution over an article critical of a rising political leader, the writer should have focussed on the merits of the argument that the article published by the Carnegie Endowment presented against Mr Narendra Modi.
