Sir — This refers to the editorial, “It’s time to act. Period” (September 20). Frequent attacks on Indian soil, resulting in the death of Army personnel and civilians must now come to an end. We must deal with Pakistan with an iron hand. The Army must be given a free hand to deal with them. No dialogue or any other kind of soft attitude will work. Peace can be restored in Kashmir when the Army takes appropriate action.
