Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Of leadership failures” (March 29). The Congress has denounced the imposition of President’s Rule in Uttarakhand as “a murder of democracy”. Perhaps the grand old party has forgotten that earlier, when the UPA was in power, it had murdered democracy by imposing President’s Rule on Opposition-run Governments. History repeats itself.
