Sir — This refers to the article, “Is the Priyanka factor Congress’s only hopeIJ” (July 13) by Rajesh Singh. The Congress is a party which cherishes self-destruction by giving leadership to the members of the Gandhi family. Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is nothing but a burden for the party. By engaging Congress scion Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election, the Congress is making yet another mistake. People are not familiar with her political career, her dedication for work and her connection with the aam aadmi is minimal. She is like a cuckoo which sings only spring.
