Sir — This refers to the article, “The many problems with Prohibition” (September 8) by Joginder Singh.
I completely agree with the writer. Enforcing moral behaviour has never worked in this country, and has actually proved to be counter-productive. At the root of this ban, however, as we all can guess, is politics more than noble intent.
