Sir — This refers to the article, “How to deal with the Iron Brothers” (May 29) by Ashok K Mehta. You need a real strong and decisive man in the Prime Minister’s chair to tackle the Chinese dragon.
And the one person who meets all the criteria of a bold and able leadership is the ‘lion of India,’ Chief Minister of Gujarat Narendra Modi.
From Chief Minister to Prime Minister, Mr Modi would easily slip into the role and ably fulfill his responsibility towards the nation and its people. He can also take firm decisions to thwart the designs of nations inimical to India, especially in the immediate neighbourhood. He is the hope of the future.
