Sir — This refers to the editorial “Blot on India’s history” (January 20). The suffering of Kashmiri Pandits are no different than those of the Sikhs in 1984 anti-Sikh riots or the victims of the Bhopal gas tragedy. Justice has not been done to any of these victims or their families. Sadly, their wounds are still fresh because successive Government’s have been ignorant towards their cause.
Only a few Kashmiri Pandit families have been able to relocate for better lives, otherwise most of them have struggled. The divide between these Pandits and the valley has only been increasing over the years. Ironically, elections too could not ensure a stable Government in the troubled State.
