Sir — This refers to the article, “Chasing a mirage and hoping that it’s real” (October 14) by Balbir Punj. It seems that all parties opposing the BJP are caught in a cobweb.
They can see that the national mood is decisively anti-Congress. However, if they have to come together as a front, the only agenda they can offer to the people is ‘secularism’. But, the only agenda before the people is development and governance, which this breed of pseudo-secularists has been unable to offer.
